Hanging Unit Heaters
The Trane electric architectural forced-air wall unit heaters combine quiet, reliable heating with an attractive cabinet design. Their ease of installation, rugged construction, and architectural styling particularly suits them for space heating applications in commercial, industrial, and institutional applications. These unit heaters range from smaller room-sized electric heaters to large indoor and outdoor duct furnaces.
The unit heaters are typically used in areas with high ceilings and are exposed in the space to be heated. Unit heaters offer low installed cost and are able to heat large volume areas without requiring extensive duct systems. Contact us today to install a unit in your commercial, industrial or institutional space. We can also help you find the right heater for your area to maintain proper temperatures in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Gas Unit Heaters
Propeller fan unit heaters and centrifugal fan gas unit heaters are designed for use in space heating applications. The gas unit heaters are typically used in areas with high ceilings and are exposed in the space to be heated. Gas unit heaters offer low installed cost and are able to heat large volume areas without requiring extensive duct systems.
Duct furnaces are designed for use in ducted applications with a separate air handling device such as a horizontal blower assembly. By utilizing a separate air source, greater application flexibility in airflow delivery can be obtained. Multiple duct furnaces can be used with an air handling unit to provide zone heating.
Electric Unit Heaters (2,000 to 5,000 watts)
Wall-mounted electric unit heaters are available in a number of voltage/phase combinations; all are UL-listed. To further enhance heater versatility, as well as minimize system installation and design time, a wide selection of pre-engineered, factory-installed control options are offered.
Offered in 16 models with heating capacities ranging from 5,119 to 16,380 Btu per hour, these electric unit heaters are lightweight and compact. All units weigh less than 30 pounds and the grille-and-frame assembly measures approximately 21 inches high, 16 inches wide and 5 inches deep (including the rough-in-box).
S&P Unit Heaters
These unit heaters provide uniform heating for large open areas in such applications as warehouses, factories, and showrooms. The Model S is a horizontal propeller heater of unusually compact size and low weight. The Model P is a vertical heater which easily and quickly converts on the job to a low final air temperature unit - in effect, two unit heaters in one. Designed for use in space heating applications. The unit heaters offer low installed cost and are able to heat large volume areas without extensive duct systems.
